About us
Based in Rotterdam, International Oil Trading B.V. (IOT) is a Dutch company specializing in trading oil petrochemicals and CSO tickets.
With over three decades of in-house expertise, we have a clear understanding of how the oil market operates. We have an extensive network of professionals in the industry, allowing us to provide stockholding and obligation entities with valuable insights about market developments both globally and locally. Our clientele consists of entities with stockholding obligations, such as CSEs, public oil/petroleum companies, refineries, and other economic operators. We also maintain good relationships with Dutch and foreign stockholding agencies and supervisory authorities.

International Oil Trading does not operate solely on the Dutch internal market. We are active in various European jurisdictions, such as Scandinavia, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Balkans, and the Baltics. The trade-in of physical oil stocks and CSO tickets is always conducted in accordance with the conditions set by the International Energy Agency (IEA) and the European Union (EU). Within these frameworks, it is possible to meet cross-border needs.
History
International Oil Trading has been active in the oil sector since 1984 and can, therefore, draw on an enormous source of experience and also a very complete network of professionals within the industry. Many partnerships offer the opportunity to answer almost any question about holding or placing strategic oil stocks. In addition to collaborations with refineries, importers, and other economic operators active in the oil product market and stock obligations at home and abroad, International Oil Trading also has very close ties with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.
